JOSEPH K. McDEVITT: Oct. 16, 2006, age 54, after a courageous battle with lung and brain cancer. Beloved husband of Debbie (nee Ryder); devoted father of Desiree; dear son of Florence McDevitt and the late James Sr.; brother of Marie Feeney (Kevin), Michael (Judy) and the late James Jr.; also survived by his mother-in-law and friend, Dolores Ryder; nieces and nephews and his best friends, Buddy and Bonnie. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Friday, 8:30 A.M., BURNS FUNERAL HOME, 9708 Frankford Ave. (So. of Grant Ave.) followed by his Mass of Christian Burial 10 A.M., Christ the King Church. Viewing Thursday eve. 6 to 9 P.M. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Women's Humane Society, 3839 Richlieu Rd., Bensalem PA 19020, in his memory would be appreciated.
