Seminar Coordinator Position Realignment

Tony Mariconda wrote:

At the start of this season, I announced that Shane Hanlon had stepped down as the District Seminar Coordinator pending a work-related move out of the District. At that time, I appointed Carl Barling as the new District Seminar Coordinator and Marty Maglio to serve as the Assistant District Seminar Coordinator.

It is amazing what has happened in the ensuing months! The work-related move out of the District will now not happen for Shane. At the same time, Carl received an offer for a new job that was too good to pass up. As a result, his time is more restricted now because he has to travel for business.

As a result of these “real-life” changes, I am announcing the following realignment in the structure of our District Seminar Staff:

  • Shane Hanlon will return to his original position as District Seminar Coordinator
  • Carl Barling will serve as the Seminar Liaison for the northern part of our District
  • Marty Maglio with serve as the Seminar Liaison for the southern part of our District
I want to publicly thank these three gentlemen for the class that they all displayed while we discussed this realignment. It is a tribute to their dedication to our District Officiating Program that they were willing to accept these realigned positions. We are looking forward to working together to enhance our Seminar Program.
